My name is Nath McCann. Born and raised in Epsom, horse racing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was captivated by watching racing on the BBC and Channel 4,  but deep down, I always wanted to be a jockey.

I started working in racing yards at just 12 years old, learning the sport from the ground up. At 19, I took out my Amateur Jockeys’ Licence and went on to have around 50 rides over the next decade. While riding fulfilled a lifelong ambition, I always had a strong pull towards the media side of the sport. I’ve always been comfortable behind a camera, with a natural interest in filming and editing.

Over the years, I dabbled in creating race day videos and social content, though at the time I never truly believed it could become a full-time career. That changed in June 2025 when I founded Mace Media Productions, gaining the necessary racecourse credentials to film and produce professional content within the sport.

Since launching, I’ve built a loyal and growing client base. I work closely with jockeys, trainers and racing syndicates, producing high-quality video content and daily social media posts to promote rides, runners — and, hopefully, winners.
I’m proud to say I’ve developed strong working relationships with all my clients, built on trust, reliability and a shared passion for racing.

Racing isn’t just what I do — it’s what I’ve always known. And through Mace Media Productions, I’m proud to tell the stories of the sport I’ve loved since childhood.
